Frequently asked questions

What types of shoes do you clean?

We clean a wide range of trainers and footwear, including leather, suede, canvas, mesh, and synthetic materials. If you’re unsure whether we can clean your shoes, get in touch and we’ll be happy to advise.

How does the shoe cleaning service work?

Simply book your clean, drop off, arrange a collection or send us your shoes (depending on our service area), and we’ll professionally clean and restore them before returning them to you.

How long does shoe cleaning take?

Most standard cleans are completed within 3 working days. More extensive restoration work may take longer, and we’ll let you know before start.

Can you remove tough stains?

We can treat many common stains, marks, dirt, and discolouration. However, some stains may be permanent or may have affected the material itself, so we cannot guarantee complete removal. As soon as we receive your shoes, we will advise of the likely results.

Can you clean suede trainers?

Yes. We use cleaning methods appropriate for suede and other delicate materials. We always assess the material before cleaning to minimise the risk of damage.

Will my shoes look brand new?

Our aim is to get your shoes looking as fresh and clean as possible. Results depend on the shoe’s material, condition, age, and type of staining, so we cannot guarantee that every pair will look brand new.

Do you clean white trainers?

Absolutely. White trainers are one of our most popular cleaning requests. We can tackle dirt, scuffs, stains, and general discolouration where possible.

Can you clean the soles?

Yes. We clean midsoles and outsoles as part of our service, helping to remove built-up dirt and grime.

Do you clean designer or luxury trainers?

Yes, we can clean many premium and designer trainers. Because these shoes can use delicate or specialist materials, we’ll assess them before carrying out the service. Examples of premium trainers can be found on our cleaning page.

Can you remove bad smells from shoes?

We can deodorise shoes as part of selected cleaning services. While this can significantly improve odours, particularly strong or persistent smells may require additional treatment.

Can you repair damaged trainers?

Cleaning and repair are different services. Depending on the type of damage, we may be able to offer restoration or recommend an appropriate specialist.

Do I need to book before bringing my shoes in?

We recommend booking in advance to make sure we can accommodate your order and provide the expected turnaround time.

Do you offer collection and delivery?

Yes-collection and delivery options, prices, and locations will be shown during booking.

What happens if my shoes are damaged before cleaning?

We inspect shoes before beginning the cleaning process. If we identify existing damage or a material that could be affected by cleaning, we’ll discuss this with you before proceeding and share any photos for complete transparency.

Can you clean heavily worn or very dirty trainers?

Yes. We regularly clean heavily soiled footwear. The final result will depend on the condition and material of the shoes.

Do you clean children’s shoes?

Yes, provided the footwear is suitable for our cleaning process.

Do you clean or replace laces are part of the service

Any laces are cleaned as a standard part of the cleaning process. Additional/replacement laces can be provided at an additional cost.

How do I book a cleaning service?

Simply visit our cleaning page for prices and WhatsApp us to arrange dates and delivery.

What if I’m not sure which cleaning service I need?

No problem. Send us a photo of your shoes and details of the issue, and we’ll help you choose the most suitable service. We never try and upsell. We will advise you of the options and leave the choice up to you.

Do you guarantee stain removal?

No. While we use professional cleaning techniques to achieve the best possible results, some stains, dye transfer, discolouration, and material damage cannot be completely reversed.

Can cleaning damage my shoes?

We take care to use appropriate products and techniques for each material. However, cleaning can sometimes reveal existing weaknesses or affect certain delicate materials. We’ll assess your shoes before treatment and advise you of any potential risks.

How can I keep my trainers clean after the service?

Avoid wearing freshly cleaned shoes in harsh conditions where possible, wipe away dirt promptly, store them somewhere dry, and consider using a suitable protective treatment.

Do you offer regular cleaning?

Yes. Regular professional cleaning can help keep your favourite trainers looking their best. Ask us about repeat bookings or ongoing cleaning options. Sent from my iPhone
